Note: if you would like your entry back at the end of the fest, please let us know in the book with your entry. Otherwise entries will be discarded at the end of the fest.

Name the Luna Ice Cream Contest
Note: due to EM and EM policy changes since this fest was first announced, we cannot guarantee that a new ice cream will actually be added to Chessie's Luna. We will ask, however.
Chessie's goblins have long had an ice cream booth near the bank in Luna. However, it has been a long time since any new flavors were served there. Your task is to suggest a new flavor for the ice cream booth. The flavour must be UO-related!
To reach the fest's branch of the ice cream parlor, use the teleport tile near the stairs at the cafe. Some early entries can already be seen labeling the ice cream tubs in there.
Anyone may enter. You may enter as many times as you wish. Place your entry in a bag and include a book with your name and contact info, then drop that bag off in the mailbox at the ice cream parlor.
Prize: A beautiful 5-piece rubble and slime dock set!
We will also ask that a new ice cream with the winning name be added to Luna, but we don't promise that it'll actually happen.

Scam Book Contest
It was a hit at Izumo, so we're running it again! In the spirit of joke items, looking back to the old scams such as "a cigar box", invent a new scam name for a book.
If you're in need of inspiration, or just want to laugh at the great submissions from others in the past, the entries from Izumo 2014 are on display in the blue gift box at the cafe.
Book titles must appear to be "normal" items; they must not use special fonts, italics, bold, or other font-effects. Any normal type of book may be used (gargish, purple book, provisioner's red book, quest reward red book). Books may be dyed.
Anyone except Brian may enter. You may enter as many times as you wish. Place your entry in a bag and include a book with your name and contact info, then drop that bag in the mailbox off at the back of the cafe.

Scam Box Contest
Just like the scam book contest... but with a red box! Dye and engrave a red box to create an instant "rare"!
Example: a red box dyed olive green and engraved "goblin coffin".
Engravings may not use special fonts, italics, bold, or other font-effects. Only non-exceptional red boxes may be used. Boxes may be dyed, but it is not required. Boxes must be engraved.
Anyone except Brian may enter. You may enter as many times as you wish. Place your entry in a bag and include a book with your name and contact info, then drop that bag off in the mailbox at the back of the cafe.
Prizes:
1st place: 5m and the lovely pair of black statues that guard the front steps of the cafe.

Ilshenar Foot Race
This is a live event, Sunday, September 20 at 4 pm.

In honor of the gypsies of UO, this will be a foot race to visit all 10 locations where the travelling gypsy caravan stops.
Prizes:
1st place: For the exhausted soul who finishes first, the Dying Soul Of Sorgrus The Vile Follower Of Minax (Pacific S13, 15)
2nd place: A Surcoat of Exceptional Quality, to replace any clothing shredded while running.
3rd place: A Fancy Shirt of Exceptional Quality... third place may as well have a dry shirt!
Prizes are on display on the 2nd floor of the cafe.
Voting
At some point this week, each player will be given a "ChessieFest Ticket". These each contain a unique ID - please don't waste our time and make any fake tickets, every ticket WILL be verified during voting. Lost tickets will not be replaced. Fest hosts have a very small number (10) of bonus tickets; these might be given out during the week at any moment!
Once these 4 contests (scam book, scam box, ice cream, backpack art) have closed, mailboxes will be set up at the trader's auction house. On Sunday, you will be given the chance to cast your vote by placing your ticket into the mailboxes. You are voting for the winner of 4 different contests - but you get only one ticket to "spend"! You will have to decide which contest and entry is most worth your one vote!
