I've been doing a lot of research lately working on my Masters.. I found this in Computer Gaming World....

It's the very first public announcement and screenshot of the game that was released a year later..

At this time they had stated they had tested it up to around 40 players ...

Which is a good thing..means they didn't have to change/fix much from a year before launch to actual launch and look were it is now...17 years later still goin! That's Classic!
