Chat.stratics.com anyone ??

I am sorry for posting here, but had no idea where to post this query....

I seem to be unable to connect to http://chat.stratics.com

It always brings up an error message like page not available or unable to connect to the chat.stratics.com server.

Even if I try to go to the link http://chat.stratics.com/using-stratics.html‎ with firefox, the browser searches and searches forever and in the end returns the error message that Firefox is unable to connect to the server chat.stratics.com...... what gives ??

The web-page loads fine for me. If you are trying to get into the irc-chat, try the "Chatzilla" add-on for firefox. It works well and is free.

Yep, it's an IRC. We provide the domain and branding, but Zephenia and her team operate it independently. Most of the users are former Stratics members/staffers (pre-2010).

Awesome I'll check it out. I love getting back to the old skool! I've got mIRC installed. What are the server details to connect up?

irc.stratics.com port 6667 or 6668, #ultima-online is generally quiet but easy to start a conversation there (I'm usually idling there, as is my wife when she's home, Zephenia is there most of the time, DevilHimself, etc.) but there are a decent amount of other active channels, give /list a go and go hog wild.
