Chat problems in KR...more help plz (lol)

Okie doke.

So I finally got KR up and running (YAY!) but I'm stuck with one more problem that I'm looking for assistance with.

My overhead chat keeps disappearing almost automatically, and my chat box keeps disappearing almost automatically, with the text in it as well. I've put the settings to everything from 5 seconds to forever, but no dice. If I hover my mouse over the chat box it might remain for a bit, but that's about it.

So, anyone know what's doing? What I'm doing wrong etc?

You using Legacy or KR default chat?


As for settings well no idea why your having a problem, mine are set to:

Show chat window [x]
Chat window fade delay = forever
Chat Text fade delay = forever

Overhead chat [x]
Overhead chat fade delay = 5 secs (up to you on that)

and I have legacy chat mode enabled.

In the graphics tab I have show frame enabled.

There is a problem with setting the text color for individual chat modes flickering so it is near impossible to get the select color menu, but noone else I know of has reported the prob you seem to be having.

Try setting them from the start so go back to default, reset, then hit 'apply' then 'ok' and close the window, log out log back in and see if it fixes whatever the issue is. It sounds like your not applying it after setting, but hard to say.
