You can't actually turn the deed into a Guild Stone, can you?

You can use the deed to place the stone where you like it, but it is just decorative the stone itself is no longer functional but can be chopped and re-deeded to move it around.

yes you can use it to place the guild's stone where you'd like but unless you're from the guild it will not be functional for you.
