Characters teleporting?

Heya,

So first the Medusas Evil Twins started to transfer ppl to Ter Mur moongate.

Now, I hit my dressmacro in my house and went to get something to drink. My phone rings, I speak couple mins on phone... I come back to my comp and client has crashed, ok nothing new.

I log in, and my char is standing couple screens East from Fel Trinsic moongate?

And no, my house is nowhere nere there.

Any ideas?

First... I'd log into your account and change your password...

Another person logging into your account when you're currently logged in will crash your client... your moving to fel may also indicate "someone has moved you"...

Scan your computer for virus's

Yeah I quess I change my pass... Thou No-one knows my password. And if someone had hacked my comp to get my acc, why would he just move my char and not loot my house? Doesn't really make sense to me.

If your account was hacked the hacker may have been going to a place to dump your stuff. You may have caught them in the act. If this is the case then you diverted the attack, but they still have your username, which is an issue. I would contact EA immediatly. It is a criminal offense and you can press federal and local charges.

I'm very sure this is about something else then hacking. Ofc you never know, but I'd put my money on some bug ingame.

I have never heard of anyone experiencing such a bug but a hacking does sound highly likely in this event.

Ok...

It's getting even weirder... I ran virus/malware scans and changed my pass.

I wanted to know what's going on so I kept training necromancy in my house while reading for my tomorrows spanish exams. I crashed again. I logged in, my character was 2 screens east from Minoc moongate invissed?

What the hell is going on here...

Could this be a GM playing tricks or what? I quess GM can't crash you client ehh...

If you are unattended macroing you would get a message from a GM, or EM. They are red and at the bottom of your screen. I have heard similiar stories but that was a long time ago. You should also see a blue button on the top of your screen. Have you contacted EA yet? This sounds like your account is being hacked. Which is something I would take very seriously. Immediate action needs to be taken. Good luck, you may want to lock your account until the issue is resolved.

Splup ive had the same but the gm teleported me in my house in yew so its probably something about you macroing

It's the crashing part more than the teleporting part that tells me it isn't a GM related issue.

Afk in the first post and macroing in his later post. I wasn't trying to accuse of anything, now calm down...

Hmmh... Well I wasnt watching my screen all the time when I was reading spanish thou I was sitting at my comp chair. So I might have missed if GM sent me a message. Kinda weird that no Jail, Ban or Mail from EA. I quess it's a GM playing tricks then, since hacking makes no sense... Why didn't they just change my pass?

I quess gotta stay more focused on screen and less focused on book next time or I will get my acc banned... Thou still the first teleportation has been kinda overreaction from GM since my char has been just standing there. Maybe he thought I'm idling counts or something.

Ohh well, gotta get going to university to do that spanish exam
