Hi Flutter,
It's definitely an IE issue. Some reason IE is choking on something on that page. If it is what I think it is... you may need to reinstall IE7. IE8 is still a way off from release. Firefox or Flock would be an option too if you're so inclined. Before you reinstall IE7 though, there are some things you can try.
<ul>[*]Update all your Norton security definitions. Do a full malware scan (anti virus, anti spyware, etc.).
[*]Do a CHKDSK (in My Computer right click C:; left click Properties; left click the Tools tab; in the Error Checking section click Check Now; in the Check Disk dialog put check marks in "Automatically fix file system errors" and "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors"; click Start; CHKDSK will stop and a dialog box will prompt you that it needs to error check on the next startup click Yes; click Okay; restart the PC and let CHKDSK scan... it'll fix whatever it finds (depending on the size of your hard drive and the speed of your PC it could take 30 to 90 minutes). After CHKDSK is finished the system will continue booting to either your Windows Logon Screen or desktop (whatever you have it set to do).
[*]Run Windows Update. Install all Critical Updates, and and any Optional Updates that are IE and OS related. Some updates will require a restart.
[*]Do a Disk Cleanup. Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools.
[*]Run Disk Defragmenter. Again, could be 30 to 90 minutes approximately.
[*]Shutdown and restart the PC again.
[*]In that order. Order matters.[/list]
If none of that helps (especially the CHKDSK and Windows Update), then reinstalling IE or installing a new browser altogether (Firefox, Flock, Opera, etc.) would be the next thing.
There are plenty of other things that can be done, but are for more advanced users if you feel so inclined.
Hope that helps.
