Character Names

How do you decide what name you are going to use for each game? I've taken to just picking the first thing that comes to mind... but it does seem like this is a deeply personal thing.

If the game has a race or some sort of backstory my character will be somehow inspired by it, but not always.

 

[Aster]

I've left a lot of characters behind because I just couldn't play the name.
