I have been playing UO this time for about 9 months with a new acct. I had to start all over.. And just resently I got an old acct that i had since 2000. I stopped playing in 2004 due to employment changes.. I started driving a truck over the road and was never home.. well i had two acct back then but could only get one of them back. BUT my question is?????? I would like to transfer a couple of the old char from my old acct to my new acct. Can anyone tell me if I can do this and if I can how do I go about it?? I know you can buy a char allready built and then have it put on your acct?? Just wondering if I could transfer a char from one acct to another?? I know you can transfer from one Shard to another with a transfer token.. So if anyone knows if I can do this or not plzz let me know... thx

Unfortunately, this is not an available option.

If it ever became available, it would imagine it to be pricey. EA would probably rather have you paying for both accounts every month than purchase a one-time transfer. I could also see this possibly wreaking havoc with the Soulstone system.

you can't transfer characters between accounts unfortunately.
also, you don't buy a new char fully developed and xfer it to your account - you create a new char on your account first, and then use an Advanced Character Token to pick a template that will raise that char's skills up to about 85, then you train them the rest of the way up.
hope that helps...

Thanks all for the response. Just my luck though. Well i guess it would cause a problem. Oh well. Guess i'll have to keep working on the one acct and let the other one go.. Man I hate to see good characters lost though.. But anyway thx all..

The old account would get nicer vet rewards :) If the chars are any good, you could transfer all your stuff, house etc from the new one to the old one....isn't there a free 15 day trial offer?

Nat/Bella makes good points: is your old account developed at all?

How long was it inactive? or, rather, what account age does it show?

Well the old acct is 52 months old the chars are ok It was a second acct that I had way back when.. I had two accts and the best one got lost. I started a new acct and have been playing for about 9 months and then found out how to reclaim the old accts and out of the two I had I could only find one?? I just happend to be the one that I played the least.. So i got it back and paid for one month. And that will be up in a few weeks. I guess i could transfer everything over to it.. the acct was inactive for about 3 1/2 years.. I have about the same as for chars on both accts.. So I'm going to leave it up to you guys to help me figure out which one to keep. Thx

i'd keep the older one. that way your chars can ride ethereal mounts, your chars get better vet rewards, and, erm, i can't think of any other reason... but i'd keep your old account and de-activate the new one when the time is up for subscription renewal.

Yes I think i will. It will just cost me a little money getting thing in order.. But I think in the long run keeping the older acct will be more beneficial.
