(RP) Chaos among the Virtuous

Lore Denin (GL)

Sage
Stratics Veteran
Stratics Legend
Lore received another letter on his desk, from the intricate seal, he knew it was not good news...

His allies the XMG and Minocian Partisans Resistance (MPR) had begun skirmishing in towns, a misunderstand led to an attack, which led to a response, which led to all out war.

Lore had met with both guild leaders and thought the matter resolved.... looking at the letter that had just arrived on his desk apparently not...

The terms had been to leave MPR to the sigils and allow XMG the altars. Simple and effective terms that would allow both groups to work together while limiting interaction and the chance for additional altercations.

Lore took a deep breathe, broke the seal on the letter and began to read,

"XMG and their allies in the OKOJ continue to attack us when we enter town. These unprovoked attacks on the Partisans can not go unaddressed. The XMG/OKOJ clearly have no respect for the peace terms which we agreed or the leaders of their own guild who agreed to them. In either case this is war.

I understand that this places you in a tough position but the XMG/OKOJ are clearly using your good graces to earn silver under your protection while misleading you about their intentions and dedication to Virtue. I am drawing up our own terms for peace and XMG/OKOJ will no none until they repent

Nonel Topd, Governor of Minoc, Leader of the Minocian Partisans Resistance"

Lore put down the letter and thought grimly on what actions the Kingdom would to take in response.
After a moment he summoned his squire Lady Kiera. "Call an emergency meeting of my Royal Council. We meet tonight for a last chance to find peace between our allies. Pray we do or it shall mean war."

After dispatching Nala, Lore thought about his early days in the Order and the old saying that was spoken like a mantra in those early days "There is no threat greater to Virtue then Chaos"

How true that adage held today even in an era over a hundred years removed.
