changing uo classic client to english language

Hi there -

there once was an easy option to change your client to english (from german): You opened the uo.cfg file with an editor, wrote the line "UserLanguageCodeString=ENU" into it and saved the file. Now if I try to do this "old style" change, it is not possible to save the file any more (ERROR: Access denied; and YES, I have admin rights). Did they change something so you can't edit this file anymore?

I think its windows that have changed. Something with access to the folders aswell. Had some problems with it but dont remember exactly what I did to solve it. Could also be that I never understood what I did but I got it to work somehow.

Try this.

Press the windows key, type in notepad, right click notepad, run as administrator, open uo.cfg from notepad, make changes, save.
