Changing from pure mage to bard/mage

Multi-purpose mage/bard in the making:

mage
med
eval
resist
provo
music

all scrolled?

or add peace into that at 100 each?

and rely on jewels and my +20 from being a vet to
bump up provo/music/ peace/and I hate failing alot on 8th on magery so magery?

If you're playing an Elf, get Spell-woven Britches... Will let you move 10 Med to some other skill. Plus, the song-woven Mantle arms will do the same for music

The Traveling Minstrel talisman (550k points at the library) will add to your bard skills.

Consider the minor artifact Alchemists Bauble bracelet for +10 Magery, 20% LRC, some extra poison resist and a nice Enhance Potions bonus. The Crystaline Ring artifact from the Prism of Light would be even better for +magery, but costs a LOT more.

And, if you keep resist, there is the Aegis of Grace circlet (some are elf-only, some are usable by humans - the circlet version is medable, but there may be some of the non-med helm versions still out there), that gives +10 to Resist skill

Bonuses:
Spell Woven Britches: +10 Med
Song-woven Mantle: +10 Music
Minstrel Talisman: +5 Music, +5 Provo
Alchemist Bauble: +10 Magery
Aegis of Grace: +10 Resist

Combined, these would allow you to raise 720 up to 770 points, plus whatever you get from a ring.

120 Music (105+items)
120 Provo (115+items)
120 Magery (110+items)
110 Eval
110 Resist (100+items)
100 Peace
100 Med (90+items)

A good +skill ring, and/or a better bracelet than the bauble, will revise these accordingly.

Not an elf, however, I can see from your breakdown that
it is possible for me to be a provoker and peacer even as
a human, which for RP must stay as.

That is good news as I would really like that combo the best
I think. But training provo first, will be a while hehe, in the
meantime will save up gold to possibly buy the things you mentioned.
