Is there a guide out there? I know to make shadow stone steps but the skulls and pentagram.

Maybe I do know how to make one....

how does it look? I know it's the wrong skull, but the right one only drops from harrower, so I don't see me getting that one, somehow.

Oh. Valorite stone. Not shadow.

the altar stone pieces are dyed with bright blue plant dye (remember you can't dye plain granite), the candles with berserker red tokuno dye.
this is @Petra Fyde came out perfect

Hey I built that house!

Luna house on Origin that's not there anymore....I went through SO MUCH plant dye on that house!!!

But yeah, hard to get the color exactly right but it's close.

Yeah because the middle section is a bit darker on an actual altar, I thought it worked nicely!

Well, you make due with what is available. Couldn't find red tokuno dye and ... ya.. the skull..

Is there a trick to placing the pentagram ? I have tried building this in 3 different spots in my castle.
Each time when I go to place the pentagram I get " The target location has at least one impassable tile, Construction aborted "
I can place it on the floor, I can place it on pavers on the floor,
If I raise the pavers or use blocks it won't have it
I have even made a plot on TC1 that's empty and I still get this

Use gazas or pavers lifted up then place pentagram after put the rest the stone pieces
That should work

use a paver instead of a block for the central piece of the top, target that to place the pentagram.

You need to dye the pentagram with shadow dancer dye for the gate altar - this is fun, you get the gate sound when you walk up to it.
