champ spawn fix... when?

Ok rightnow on my server there's a new born tactics and spawn templates that's wildly spreading due to the bugged ps distribution bug as per DEVs and they said they are looking into fixing them.

Anyways rightnow thru out the day we get trammies/pvp incapitated players going into multiple champ spawn in dungeons and wither the spawn to get to 3rd (where things get harder) and when raider comes they hide and stealth away and WAIT... so just for the hack of it I tried this to see if it really worked. I worked despise to 3rd and then took the teleporter to destard and again working the rikky up to 2nd and then I stealthed to the center of greater dragons and just sit there virtually afk. Called in my guildies to have them finish dsp... (I'm at DESTARD) and bam I got 2 scrolls and a pair of int boots... then I noticed destard was reverted by a candle so I quickly wither it back to 3rd and smokebombed and stealthed away back to the super dragons and guildies finished the rikky aftet 20minutes and another 2 scrolls and statue...

Imo this is ********, not only I didn't touch anything from 3rd and up never seem the champ but also I was either in a completely different dungeon or at least 150 tiles away from the spawn I was able to rack in scrolls AND replicas for pratically doing nothing then afk.

Is this really the way you devs wanted? You said you are going to fix this but its been months so when is the fix coming?

Btw the new (and lame) spawn template that I was talking about has been used by a zerging guild on my shard (they have a lot of people but most can't pvp) its the necro ninja stealther just to quick withering spawn and smokebomb when they see real pvpers/raiders... please fix this thanks

Wow...two spawns, two drops? I bow down to your amazingness I have done well over 80 champs and never even once gotten a replica drop yet. I will have to try your suggestion, without the tears of course since there is no crying in Fel.

If this is the case, then the frustration of people not gifted by the RNG gods is going to go through the roof! I am in that pool.. 100 spawns and counting and ZIPPO for drops!

Why should it be set up so someone who spends time progressing the spawn to tier 3 (only to get raided and chased off from the spawn they initiated) receives nothing. Bringing the spawn to the 3rd tier is essentially doing 1/2 the work and they should be equally entitled to any rewards the Champion may drop.

And if I read FoF correctly today this is exactly how it's intended to work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

hard work. took me 7 minutes on a necro to advance 3 candle pop dsp to lv3 and about 10 for rikky. and no its not how its supposed to work. you shouldnt be able to receive scrolls and replicas from another dungeon the patch stated you must be in that area. also replica can drop into a ghost's backpack making it impossible to steal/loot is also not working as intended and will be fixed soon also.

My Understanding that this is not a bug, it is intended to lure more blues to Fel, TO MAKE REDS HAPPY. IT WORKED. Now that the blues out smarted the REDS, the REDS are not happy. Go Figure!

Madrid you are absolutly correct, For many years us "Trammy guilds" have got raided on the end of 3rd level 4th level, and the Reds sat back and laughed at us. Now it is our turn it sit back and laugh.

I'm all for it and loving it. And truth be told it is more fair and balanced now than it was before.

What's really funny is when it becomes a waiting game and the REDS wait and wait hoping those who have worked the spawn will just 'leave' the server permanently.

I've collected many a powerscroll and relic while sitting hidden under a tree waiting for others to finish the job I started. And rightfully so because I was the one who did the majority of the work and have the drive and desire to initiate the champ spawn.

Personally I don't think anyone should get rights except the one who actually Challenged the Champion and all those players the challenger wishes to include in his guild/party. Everyone else should go challenge their own champion somewhere else if they want scrolls/relics and not be allowed to intrude in on someone else. Very much similiar how Peerless are set up...

Now what we have is people crying because their unable 100% greif players 'trammelites' who just want a chance at a scroll or relic. This has been long overdue...

It's still not completely fair and balanced but it's way better than it was before when it was completely one sided with people healing the champion to full health and getting all the scrolls/relics/decos etc.

This system totally kicks ass . Raiders outnumbered me 5 to 1 - I hid at Despise until the champ died and I was rewarded with 120 Magic Resist scroll ^^

It's not entirely true.
When they fix the bug were you can get PS/Replica from anywhere within the subserver. It will also encourage raids to put at least a detect/tracker in group. If they made it fair and fix the range assuming they made it work the same way as protecting SoT scroll range which is 90-tile radius, it would be troublesome but not entirely impossible to catch.

Also rightnow the bug that prevents replica dropping to your corpse will be fixed so replica and PS will all go into your corpse thus encouraging last minute raid when champ is completely redlined. You will all most likely get wiped and champ will drop in a few seconds later and we will be collecting replicas and PS directly from your corpse.

It's funny when trammies say they "outsmart" when I am the evil red that's doing the explination of how to bug is done.

According to the DEV when you run too far away from the alter you might get the message similarly to when the protector was too far to receive a scroll. Which is a rightful bug fix/exploit removal. As the dev stated the hit the spawn and run to the other side the the world shouldnt work but rightnow you can be 20000 tiles away in same server and it would work. Nice fix, looking forward for it.

To the raiders outthere, when patch comes in make sure you raid when the champ is redlined, this way you can out-smart those self-claimed smart trammies using a bug to gain rewards they shouldnt be collecting.

What is your beef here, You reds wanna do champs then do them ,but from what I see u can't do them .....all u want is to be a controller of ppl.....just like gangs do. Everytime Trammies find a way to help themselves in Fel you Reds all start crying UNFAIR. Reds are Turf controllers and as far as I am concerned this has been great for Trammies and hope it stays . I remember when Spellweaving first came about and we Trammies figured it out that if we had 4-5 spellweavers we could kill a red with WOD, but that didn't last long becuz the Reds all started crying UNFAIR.. It will always be UNFAIR to the REDS if Trammies can get the upper hand.....makes me wonder, are they all cry babies IRL???? Also Reds want pvp, that doesn't exsist...cuz the Reds come full force killing pvm ppl instead.....ppl who either don't know how to pvp or rather not......Reds are no more then Bullys of UO. you babies can keep thinking the bug will last forever until pub58 hit and you are getting raided at end of champ.then you can take ur little pink balls back to tram.

you guys are the one cried about risk vs reward...... best advise i can tell you is learn to pvp and stay away from carebear easy mode... or you will always be "controlled"

1) I agree with WarUltima... the current System is bugged & broken... and PARTIALLY..doing multiple spawns & simply stealthing out but staying on the server is LAME and NOT what the devs intended...

2) FEL is meant to have risk.. the way this currently functions is near ZERO risk (if your intelligent... smokebombs are hard to beat & tracking don't cut it)

Notice the Devs Agree w/ Me on this point....bc they will fix it.

If you leave the subserver during a champ spawn does your contribution reset?

You will not lose your spawn points if you leave the subserver during a spawn. However, if you are not back on the subserver before the Champion dies, you will have no chance of receiving the reward. As of Pub 58, all points earned will be wiped at the end of each spawn.-Sakkarah

For those of you who missed it.... the part in RED implies that the system isn't currently functioning like this. Meaning working multiple champs up stacks your odds cumulatively & you only have to stay on the server to reap the reward...

PS... WarUltima... how could you possibly be surprised "They" are using this tactic??? I mean FINALLY all those stealthers have a purpose !!

And for all these year (and I bet I played UO longer than your mesely 9 years, since this seems to be your way of calculating credibility) I know how the system works and I am usually updated for everything the DEV might throw in this game. You know the 5000 tile away to receive a replica/ps or replica is dropping to a ghost making impossible to lose is rigged. YOU are abusing this stated BUGGED system. Please if you think FEL and PvP and the INTENDED (again stated by DEV) system is too harsh for you to handle simply quit. You dont have to argue with me since DEVs have comfirmed that currently the system is NOT working as intended. The current system might make sense to you if it's happening on tram, but as a 10yr vet, I KNOW it wasnt designed to work like that on FEL. Especially like you guys said, it's made to "entice" trammies to fel to PvP, not "entice" trammies to "instantly" hit and smoke bomb and hide and go "Hide" and "AFK" and collect rewards. The crap you guys are doing is exactly like UNATTENDED SCRIPTING...... which kinda explained why you seem to know more about hacking/scripting/cheating than I do.

What I do care is these stealthmage bots wandering around... Immediately the spawn is active, couple of bots activate stealthing around and throwing few EV:s now and then when noones on the same screen and stealthing around again.

Prolly pretty profitable script once again.

Thanks for showing us what your post is really about. Basically your upset that everyone does not want to play your way so you want the rules changed.
