Catskills Rune Exhange

This is an idea I've had in my head for a while now. Wanted to throw it out there and gauge the community's reaction.

I was thinking about a rune exchange program for vendor houses. Basically every house that was a member would be required to lock down a runebook on their front steps which contains runes to other vendor houses in the program. Basically it would be a way to link together some of the small non Luna houses (although Luna shops would be welcome to participate) in an effort to share business and advertise for free.

Obviously a few rules would need to be put in place.
1) Runebooks must be on the front steps, easily visible.
2) Shop names only on runes (ie. no runes marked "ARTIES, BODS, PINKS, P-SCROLLS!! CHEAP!!!!" or the like)
3) Dyed runebooks will be supplied and are not to be re-dyed so that we can make them easy to spot and uniform among houses in the program.
4) Any house not following the rules will have their runes removed.

I have seen this done before and it usually is met with success. I think you will need some volunteers to "verify" runes placed at your house on a regular basis. It will be absolutely necessary to keep runes "clean". Vendors that have not re-stocked in a set amount of time should be removed. This is all important so the players frequenting this "Vendor Library" can trust where they are going. If this is done right, it will be more useful than Luna.

Furthermore, if the ring starts at your vendor shop (outside Destard, I love that place sometimes), I'll be more likely to use it.

Yes, my house would be in the ring, but any house that is a member could be a starting location. The idea is for every house in the program to have a book locked down which would contain a rune for every other house in the program. So instead of a ring, it would be more like a web. Every house would be connected directly to every other house.
