If a castle wasn't in the final 5, can It be remodeled or will there be a chance of them being picked in the future?

I have changed a few things on my castle and was wondering if it made a difference for being picked in the future. Number 13 on the list.

They will wipe it and we build new ones. If they go by what they said. Who knows.
