Can't stable dragon

Today I took my dragon out of the stable for a little hunting and when I tried to put it back I get the message "You can't stable that". I have lvl 3 taming mastery and have not moved anything else in or out of the stable for several days - only the dragon - and I have not changed masteries either.

Anyone have any ideas? It's a pretty good dragon and I don't want to lose it.

Need more details homie. Could it be that you're at max slots and the little buff from the mastery needs to be swapped back on or something like that?

Yeah I'm at max slots but I have not switched the lvl 3 taming mastery off. I have taken the dragon out and put him back in several times over the last few days with no problems until now. Haven't changed a thing.

Try eating a level 1 primer of whatever, probably magery, and switching to it. Then switch back to Animal Taming mastery after 10 minutes and try stabling the dragon again.
I had to do that when I was in bushido level 2 and ate a bushido level 3 to get the +15 mana from the mastery.

Sounds like it's not recognizing your dragon as your target. Otherwise, it would say your stable is full. Try clearing your target by targeting yourself once after saying stable. You should get the reply "hahaha I am not an inn sorry!" then try targeting your dragon. If this doesn't work come back we will try something else.

ok found something that worked I killed the dragon and rezzed him YAY!

Death seems to work wonders in UO and has for years. I remember when skills gains would get stuck and
the only way to get new gains was to kill yourself, res, then start working the skill again .
