Can't Patch, Need Help

As the title says.
UO2D, XP.
The most recent patch (7.0.8.0).
Tried almost everything, deleted files in patch folder, rebooted, turned off anti-virus/firewall etc.
Never had any problem until today.

Any help's appreciated.

How many files named 'client.exe' in your folder? It says it made a new one but couldn't delete the old one?

Just one... and another thing that kinda bothers me is that my computer thinks the file (client.exe) was last modified on 10th June 2010... which can't be right because I didn't touch UO for almost 3 months and I just got everything patched up to date 2 days ago...

I know this is extremely late. But uninstall UO and reinstall again. Patch from begining. Make sure nothing like peerblock or firewall b locks the first patch attempt. If it gets blocked it will head to a different Ip and will continue different Ips everytime you try. Unfortunetely i found some errors with patching in the later ips. Once again this needs a little testing but this could be the issue with most patching.

Also, consider backing up the installed files once you get running again.

If you get the error at a later date, often you can copy the offending file from the backup, replacing the one causing issues, then start the patch process again. Of course, with this method you have to replace the backups after each successful update, but it's done wonders for me.
