Can't log in.. Problem connecting to server

Anyone else having this problem? Is the login server down?

Tuesday. The same thing happens every Tuesday.

Usually the login server is up again within an hour, but sometimes it takes several hours to get back up.

This is indeed strange! I am friending characters between accounts with 2 computers. I went to switch character on an account and could not get back in - BUT the character that was friending is STill there running about Moonglow like nothing happened.

-Go figure...end of the (full moon) cycle!

Yep like the man says 'every Tuesday' which of course means that it is scheduled.

However I am unable to find any reference, anywhere, relating to this schedule which we (the customers) can refer to so that if ingame we at least dont log out to change characters.

Also if ingame nothing is posted like the server down warning which would alert us to the log-in server going down. You would think it would be possible to have an onscreen message saying 'Log-in Servers going down Do Not Log out to change characters.'

Ah well, just another example of the shoddy second rate 'Customer Service' we have to endure I guess.

It's Tuesday - again. In a few more weeks we'll get used to the idea that the log in server goes down for maintenance for a while every Tuesday

On a side note that 'problem communicating with Origin' amuses me every time I see it. How long is it since 'Origin' actually existed to be communicate with now?

i cant log in, but it says my ID pass is wrong? and i dont rememeber ever having one, (i used all my usual passwords btw)
and i need registration code?
on trial (pc onbviously) but i only made account last night and now i find servers are down today, is my problem unrelated?
