I tried to enhance a couple pieces of armor that I looted and it told me it was already made of a special material or something like that. I thought all looted items were made from base materials? Iron, leather, etc
What was the thought process behind that? I also found these notes from one of the patches below:
CleanUp Britannia Updates
· Players will no longer receive turn in points for antique items.
Aren't antique items bad enough with the faster decay rate and losing durability with each powder? They can't be enhanced and they can't be turned in for points. Granted I'm not going to waste a forged tool charge on an antique item enhance so 99% are going to break anyway when I try. Whats the big deal?

No big deal.
There are amazing antique jewels all over the place. Many of them are so good they can be game changing in how they allow you to be creative with templates.
This being the case it makes perfect sense to me that they have an equalizer in the fact that they were created to only be around for a short while. Checks and balances.
Pvpers are finding a lot of great uses for them.
If they don't work for you and you don't wish to sell them just throw them away. Everything doesn't need to give points imo
Ya I ended up unravelling them. I was just trying to enhance a crappy item to make it a little less crappy. I was not dealing with an uber legendary item...
