Cannot reforge that item...

Tried to reforge a gnarled staff I made out of plain wood, and It told me it couldnt reforge that item. What am I missing?

Oak runic saw.

Its annoying, I get a hankering to play UO for the first time in like 4 months, and mystery lag is making it too dangerous to leave the house, so I try to try out the new runic options and It wont work.

Did you use the oak runic to make the gnarled staff? You can't reforge magical items. Sorry no clue

Nope just used a regular saw. I had arms lore that upped its damage but thats it.

EDIT: I see... its a bug. It won't reforge any gnarled staff. I can do reforge other stuff though. Lame. I wanted to make gnarled staffs...
