Cannot Patch UO. Help?

I just finally did a re-installation of UO and get the following message when I run UOpatch.

Could not connect to patch server 255.255.24.0:8888
Could not connect to a patch server
Make sure you have an active connection to the Internet via an ISP or a direct connection.
Your client may not be the most recent version.
You may be able to play the game with your current client.
Check http:\www.uo.com for help on resolving patching issues.
Click OK to play the game or Cancel to abort.


Windows 8.1 64 Bit. Solutions?

Nope that didn't fix anything... I went and found the CC download and that seems to be patching

did you make sure the patcher folder was empty no splash in it.

good luck hope it all works out it would suck to be without UO

I can't log in right now. Keep getting "cannot connect to UO at this time" on both my accounts then the client stops responding. I played for a couple hours earlier today no problem. So possibly an issue with their servers.
