Cannot do solen matriarch quest

I did the solen matriarch quest on a character. Then I found an ambitions solen queen and decided to do that quest. Well, once i killed one, I lost friendship of the hive!

I now have resigned from the ambitious quest, and want to befriend the hive again. But the queen ignores me! I offer her a seed and she tells me to put it in a bowl of dirt. Have I lost this quest forever???

No. You should be able to do the quest Solen Matriarch Quest again.
Are you certain you resigned from the Ambitious Queen quest?
And do you have any other quests running?

if you're getting a 'bowl of dirt' message I'm guessing you're double clicking the seed? To feed the queen just drop it on her.

Petra - that was exactly it. I was double clicking, rather than simply dropping the seeds onto her. Thank you very much!
