Cannot connect to Ultima online please try again in a few moments. The dreaded message no one likes to see. I got this right after patch.


yes I checked the patch folder
yes I deleted the patch folder
yes I remade it
Yes i checked the fire wall
yes I check the ports
yes I reinstalled Ultima Online
Yes it still says that

check if your virus scaner blocked it. I know mine always blocks it until i give the permissions. that is after an update

If you have not tried, exit UO, pause (or turn off) the firewall program. Then start UO again, see if it works. What firewall are you using?

Happening to myself also, 1st time I get the "Cannot Connect to Ultima bla bla pls try again" 2nd time it goes through all the time, it's like any 1st try it does not see, but every 2nd try it works. (Just collected Smith & Tailor bods on 5 toons & every time I logged out the 1st try back in on the the new toon I received that msg. I just reentered my PW & I got in every 2nd try every toon)

I think people are just flooding the login server so only a certain amount get on at a time with so many logging in, would not be the first time that has happened. On the other hand they did just patch so they may have broke something (but then no one would be able to get in at all)

Years ago, just before they dropped the counselor program, this was a common problem and a mega pain, just keep trying and you will get in. Don't restart the client, just try to login again.

I keep getting a can't communicate with UO error when I try to log in, usually works after 2 or 3 tries though.

Isn't it logical that if you get a prompt from UO the error is on their part and not with your PC.
