After 54 minutes of hold time, I actually got a human that spoke American - no offense to the Euro's here, but I don't do tech support from India - if I can't understand someone, well, inside of 30 seconds, I ask for someone I can understand.
It took roughly another 6-8 minutes to get the codes e-mailed, but he made sure he stayed on the phone to ensure that the codes actually worked.
In all fairness, while the gentlemen sounded very much into doing his job, and doing it well, it was clear that he was totally overwhelmed with manning the CS lines, and it was also painfully clear that he didn't know the mechanics of UO at all. I cannot fault him - he delivered the service I wanted. I cannot blame him for the length of the wait queue.
Also, on both an amusing, yet very sad note, when given a choice of games to select from, number one was Rock Star, number 2 was Pogo/related games, number 3 was Sims Online, 4 I think was Warhammer, somewhere in 5-7 was the Littlest Zoo Online, or some such crap. I was left with choice number 8... All Others... UO wasn't even given a named choice. Just goes to show what EA thinks of the game.
