Is there a precise description somewhere of exactly what this does ?

Does it reset training and free up points ?
Does it reset levels to default ?
Does it reset levels to pre-patch default ?
Does it refund powerscrolls ?
Does it just stop training and you lose any leftover points ?
None of the above ?

It stops training and you lose all leftover points. A Godsend!

Sort of is unless you want extra points to add PS in the future but am happy with the change

There were quite a few of us with points left that could not be spent at all, this was over due.

However I do think that as long as your pet is in "training" you should be able to undue any change made while you still are distributing points on any given level of training, Until you are satisfied your choices are correct.
