yea those 16th aniv horses are really tough and have great starting resists and stats but i still like the fire beetle.
Does anyone know the taming required per level for a fire beetle.
ie level 1 0.0
level 2 ?.?
level 3 ?.?
level 4 ?.?
level 5 ?.?
I assume these are different for each pet since for example a giant beetle requires 30 for level 1 training.
Is there a data base anywhere where these are being kept??
I read somewhere that pets that require 0 taming initially to control have pretty wide range. These two started life out almost identical Big Turd trained up to 3 on Dread Pirates and And Grey Ghost on a lot more Vorpal Bunnies They both have 100 Resist Spells and 100 Anat with mid 60s wrestle and tactics. Both have Dragon Breath and Armor Ignore and and 2 HPR and base damage boths resist are all 80s except 45 cold resist. Everything on them is identical except hit points, Strength and INT and Mana. Which came down to what they trained up on. Big turd was done training in about 1 hr 30 minutes, Grey Ghost took close to 6 hours on the bunnies. So by virtue of more hours of pounding his int and mana went higher before reaching 100% marks. I invested more in HP on one and more on Str on the other.
I would imagine this will hold true for beetles and any other zero initial tame requirement critters. I will test that after I finish up with a couple of Reptalons. Reptalons IMO were one of the worst pets ever put out there after they are tamed. I am interested if they can be made into something worthwhile now. The 75 Energy and 25 poison damage they deliver makes the effort worthwhile for me, if they can be improved enough after the butcher job taming does to their skills and stats.
I am thinking a chart is going to be nearly impossible to come up with given the number of variable involved. I have not tested this yet on them but wonder now if the taming requirement will continue to go up as the barding difficulty continues to go up as they further train up Wrestle and Tactics and there is also focus and Med on them tat is 50ish that will will keep going up.
I guess someone with a lot of time on their hands could make a calculator to predict what the taming requirement would be per level based on all of the variables that are possible. I had not planned on Grey being 51 since his owner is a Dexxer/Smugglers Edge stealer/ and 50/50 tame and lore. My thought there was after the steal use the horse to finish the monster victim off faster and move on to the next heist. A jewel fixed it though
