Can you resize a house during the 7 day waiting period?

Scenario=

Jon placed house #1 and caused house #2 to become condemned. John decided he wanted to keep both houses so Jon promptly transfered house #2 to a different account to remove the "condemned" status.

Jon is left with house # 1 on the original account and a 7day waiting period before he can place or receive another house... on that account.

Does this mean that Jon has to wait 7 days before he can RESIZE his house to make it bigger?

Jon is very wary about the integrity of the system and does not want to resize his house and then find he is still in the middle of the 7 day period and thus losing his new house.

How fun would it be for Jon to say "i wish to resize me house" and have his house disappear, then try to replace, but cannot, because he is in a 7 day waiting period, and not only that, but the whole shard gets one hour of preperation time to steal the new spot, when the resize timer runs out.

The question is Can you safely resize a house during the 7 day waiting period?

Demolishing house does not reset waiting period. You cannot resize until after the original 7 day waiting period.

Especially, if you had a house at the time of getting the new one, I would not rely anything to work as expected, although it should, if there is no remaining house. And the one hour timer gives also randomly passing people a chance to spot the empty place and try to place themself.
Its a while ago (around the opening of Origin) as I experienced this the hard way:
Placed a keep to block a promising spot on Arctic Island to collect the last coins needed for that castle.
Transfered the tower on another shard to another account.
Got the remaining gold, demolished the keep and tried to set the castle on a different spot - 7 day timer appeared.
Finally had to get a friend to place the castle temporary on his own account.

So better wait, if there is no urgent pressure.

I dont know anything about the resizing a house. I do know if thats the only house you have on that account and demolish it you'll be able to replot with no problems unless UO's housing server is messed up..so yes if you demo the house it does reset the placement timer and you should be able to place again, but it does reset the timer when it comes to trading a house or accepting a house in a trade. Just remember though is only so if its the only house on the account.

I would strongly suggest waiting your 7-day period before trying, regardless if some people say it resets the timer. Only because if by chance it messes up and you cannot replace, you will be probably be screwed.
