Can you change the color of tragic remains?

I see them in a blueish color, but i own some that are reddish in color. I don't recall why mine are red, but they look like blood splatters. Can this be done by dying them? Or do they spawn is two shades of color?

Mine went from blue to red then back to blue they changed on there own, I did nothing to them. only thing I did was have them in trammel. moved them to felucca, and then back to trammel, but I cant say doing that made them change colors, buts its possible.
