Is there some skill or jewlry or arty or something in the game that lets you avoid being hit with mortal strike? Those darn impalers and abyssmal horrors hit me with that everytime. This is purely for doom.

I think theres a spell weaving spell that make you more resistant to special moves but not immune Id have to do a look up on that!

Id say.. Bushido and evasion to try and keep you from getting hit by the move at all. Best way to not have the special on you is to NOT get hit.

Yes it's true. Remove Curse/Apples gets rid of the mortal right away.

I can also confirm this to be true! That's why I squeezed 60 chiv onto my tamer's template - removes mortal on pets too.

Enchanted apples. I think it's a healing or cure potion combined with a normal apple if I remember right, my chef hasn't done much work since I hit 120 taming haha!
