Can We Get A "Deco Ideas" Thread In Ask The Devs Forum, Please?

Petra, could we get a stickied and moderated thread in the Ask The Devs forum where we could post screen shots, sketches, or links to pictures of decorative objects that we'd like to see added to UO? Not quite Pinterest, but kind of the same idea? It would be similar to the other thread there where people "like" the posts they find appealing. Maybe it would be a good source of inspiration for the artist(s) working on UO.

And if you do the thread, and maybe something you can add to the other thread that already exists, please remind people to make separate posts for ideas that are different from each other? It can be a hard decision to make whether or not to "like" a post when it has one idea you really like and four others that don't thrill you.

You are remembering that between essential new artwork items the poor artist is up to his ears in the 'high res' stuff? Any deco ideas, even if adapted (or should the be adopted?), are going to take a very long time to appear.

Yeah, I realize that. But maybe something will show up in that thread that might make a good vet reward or holiday or anniversary item.

Also, I looked at the directions and just want to clarify how you want us to post images. If we find an example of something we like on another site, should we save it to our own hard drive and then upload it to Stratics or link to an image we have saved to our own account on an image hosting site, e.g., Photobucket? I was a little bit confused by the instructions.

sure but I hope they look at the thread as something they will put effort into only after they work on all the stuff that is clearly broken (and players understand this) - how about we start a thread that asks for NO ASKING for anyhthing new for year and let them actually fix whats broken. I understnad this is just a wish thread, but seriously - there are alot of other things they NEED to look into - Pets, Stealth / Reveal, Lick, Disapearing Pets (Proxies), Dressing and blessed items staying on corpse, the lists goooooooooeeeeeessss on and on.

And if you see it on another site for a free shard NO that is where it should stay - inside UO is stil bunko as far as i know

I agree that other stuff needs to be worked on as well. However, since artists generally don't seem to be the ones responsible for fixing the broken stuff, like the things you mentioned, maybe the thread can just serve as an outlet for people wanting to suggest deco stuff they'd like to see and a place for people to vote on it so the devs see what might be well-received if they're scratching their heads for ideas for anniversary, holiday, "gold sink," spring cleaning, and vet reward items. I kind of doubt Bleak, Kyronix, or Misk would spend much time in it. But maybe Mesanna and Onifrk would find it useful.

Either Tina, as long as it's not hotlinked back to the original site. Hotlinking steals bandwidth from the site being linked to.
@Weins, there is absolutely no onus on the dev team to use anything we post. As I have said in the opening post on both threads
