Seems simple enough.....please note the "*" and the fact that these figues INCLUDE the VAT @ 20%.


So....... for £9.99 I should in fact be paying £9.99 Inclusive of VAT. (The net value of this would be £8.33 + VAT)


Seems simple.......



Ultima Online: 1 Month Subscription £9.99
Tax: £1.66
Total: £11.65



Anyone know what this final "Tax" actually is?

I run 4 accounts and would love to know where my additional £79.68 a year is going.

This is being debated all over the place Another Lamer. It seems this tax is something to do with the US having weird tax laws on internet sales. However no official responses at all and it looks like we are stuck with it
