[Begging] Can someone show me step by step UOA macro

I want to work begging and I never use my UOA macros so I ned some help setting mine up please

I don't use UOA.

I click the little skill jewel, select my target and collect my gold. If you are worried about tediousness or boredom from the skill, this profession probably isn't for you.

I did not have a UOA macro when I GM the skill either, just a matter of targeting the clients. I did set one key to use the skill in options on the paper doll.

I did fine this right here in the begger's forum

on my original post i DID have how i did it.
now its not there.

very strange.

ill post it again and lets see if it stays up.

go rent 2 paladins.
take them to a building in town, smaller the better.
dismiss them.
go get 2 more.
same, release them with the other 2
go get a final 2 more.
again, release them with the other 4 so they can all play cards.

then stand in the door, so they cant walk out, and make a uoassist macro to beg each of them in turn.

6 is the limit of how long you can go between begging and get something from the same person.
so by doing the 6 then starting over you allways get a attempt.

slap in the old 10 second pause between attempts and just chugging along.

some side notes.
the smaller the house the better.
personally i like the little empty houses in east brit, of the ones in fel occelo.

saves running around.

ive GMed it probablly 8 or 9 times now on different shards.
i like to wonder around and have the title GM.

You can make a UOA macro by...
Hitting a key that is set to beg, then targeting an npc around you. You keep doing this till you have begged and targeted each npc around you and then you hit stop. Go in and after each target, add an 11000 pause. You can then run this and it will beg from each npc around you that is in your macro. The problem with this is if the npc moves or is to far away and you have to reset the targets each time you have a new set of npcs around you (read log out and in later).

There is a macro you can do in UO itself that works well if used on npcs close enough to beg from and without others around to muddle it up. Put this all in ONE UO macro...

You do have to keep clicking the button though every 11 seconds instead of making a long UOA macro that can do like 20 npcs or whatever with just one click. This macro does not need to be retargeted all the time with new npcs though. This macro also can not be used with UOA since it does not recognize the targeting system at all.

Toss up which you would rather use, but hope it helps!

O.K. I just made one I like much better and thought I would share it. It is in UO again and can not be made in UOA because UOA doesn't recognize the targeting system. This is all in one macro...

You just run up to an npc and mash the button down and it will beg from them. I keep the button mashed and just run from npc to npc and as soon as it can beg again it begs from the npc closest to me. I ran around Jhelom just now and got an npc each time as soon as I could rebeg again with no wasted time and it was EASY.... No need to pull bars, target or keep pushing a button.. Just push and hold it down and run around

Save it in the UOA folder for your character which should be located something like
C:/Program Files/UOAssist/UOA-Settings/<account name>/<shard>/<Character>

Give it a name like UOA-Macro1.cfg If you've got a macro on the first slot already then name it like UOA-Macro2.cfg..or 3 or 4 which ever you have an open Macro slot at.

If your having trouble finding the characters folder like I do since part are listed as a alphanumeric sequence kinda like 32EGF1B or something then open the folders and the UOAssist.cfg file in each it will have the characters name near the top.

After you get the file saved just assign a hotkey for it, then go round up your NPC's. Once you have the all together you can go to the macro and everywhere it says Target right-click it and select retarget and pick one of your NPC's. You have to do this since the NPC's I've targeted won't be necessarily be the same one's on your shard. After this just sit back and start hitting your hotkey....

The Macro Code up there will cycle through 6 NPC's begging each with a 11 sec delay between and an additional 11sec delay at the end.

Since I now have to be Gm to get the webs I was so wild and crazy for.Looks like im going to stop begging now and use my UO time for something else.
