Can someone help me out putting my sig in the user cp area

1)Skylark was so nice to help me with making a great sig for me.
2) I copied the url to the "edit signature" section of the User CP area. I put it in the "signature picture" section there, not the upper window for adding smilies and words.
3) I can see the sig once I put it in the "signature picture" area. It displays the actual sig.
4) I pushed the "save signature" button and it seemed that everything went thru properly
5)I don't however see my sig when I post.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or do i have to wait for it to update or something.

maybe u could try using the IMG tag instead of the URL. I'm not really sure tho. Could be something to try.
