Imbuing doesn't break stuff, while enhancing can and often does. Has anyone tested to see whether the imbuing difficulty to achieve a given set of properties can be used as an indicator of enhnacement difficulty?

I started wondering this evening when I gave away a 100% poison lance that had the Use Best Weapon property. The recipient couldn't use it due to the 95 strength requirement. He had a legendary blacksmith, though, so I suggested enhancing it with dull copper to get the 50% reduce requirements. Dull copper also adds a 100% durability.

My imbuing isn't high enough to test this myself, but as far as I could tell, neither durability nor reduce requirements are imbuable properties. So the relationship between imbuing difficulty and enhancing couldn't always be tested one on one. But I'm still wondering if the relationship exists, and, if so, could it be used to determine likelihood of destroying an item by enhancing it?
