Can I demolish a newly placed house and place elsewhere?

Hello,

I just placed a house yesterday and see the 7 day no placement message when I try to use the placement tool.

Can I demolish the house I placed and lift the 7 day lock out or would it still be in effect and lead me to subsequently become homeless?

As long as you didn't receive a house in trade or have two houses on that account during the past week you should be ok to drop your house and put a new one up.

yep, you can drop and place once an hour as long as you don't meet the 2 criteria that sarsmi pointed out. you'll still get the "you have to wait 168 more hours before placing a house" message but it will let you place, as long as you demolish the 1st house first.
