Can Humans/Elves gain Loyalty or gotta be a Gargoyle ?

One thing is not clear to me about the new Loyalty System in Stygian Abyss.

Can loyalty points be aquired by Human and Elves characters or they gotta be Gargoyles ?

If Humans and Elves can earn loyalty points, their rate of earning them is the same as for Gargoyles or it is reduced for not being Gargoyles ?

Yes they can, and they gain at the same rate.

However, Gargoyles begin at 2,000 loyalty (Citizen) to the Gargoyle Queen

On Atlantic, over 350,000 loyalty points have been achieved shard-wide!

no one on my shard knows what to do either, no clue how to get loyalty where the queen is or anything.

Overview

· Adding a new loyalty system that can store the player’s relationship with various factions in the game

· Some game mechanics will require Loyalty, such as house placement in Ter Mur

· Adding the first Loyalty group: Gargoyle Queen

· Loyalty status can be accessed from the player’s context menu

· Loyalty can be gained through completing quests or defeating mobs in Ter Mur and the Abyss dungeons

· Every mob that gives loyalty has a set amount it will give to the top attacker. Lesser attackers will receive a smaller portion, but this won’t take away from the amount anyone else gets

Something may be amis Drac. I did a conversion on one character, who definitely did not get 2k loyalty. Maybe only if ya start anew?

SP already has houses placed. 12 hrs and we have houses already. Sounds like some people knew what monsters to hit to get this done really fast. Gee, now how did they know that. And Drac. said in the thread I started about housing that this wasn't gonna happen.

Yes, this is really unfortunate and upsetting.

I had the understanding that "Noble" status, the 10,000 points threshold, would not be reachable if not with days of game play.

Yet, the very first day of the expansion we already have a number of players who got there and placed their houses ?

This is ridicolous.

There should have been a daily CAP on the amount of loyalty points obtainable.

Yet, instead, we again see the powergamers obliterate the casual gamers.

I wonder if there is one game out there where the Developers actually hold in SAME loving the powergamers AND the casual gamers.......

It is always the powergamers and never I see anything put in by design to actually defend the casual gamers against the powergamers.

I have an idea,close out the Uhall page and play the game.I hear all ya have to do is kill stuff to get loyalty points.Ya know what else I`ve heard?! After that you can place a house!! No lie man,its as easy as playing the game. Apparently others have figured that out first. Popps,my advice to you is:

A true story!

To spare the gory details of my hair destroying journey, I will only say that after clawing my way through the abyss on that first fateful day I scored a sweet new plot in the new lands. The plots are layed out exactly as they should be in modern UO and its awesome. I also LOVE the new loyalty thing even if it is new and perhaps should have had more to it, and the fact that it made me want to tear my face off at first.

All that using the info gained right here. With special thanks to Tina Small. I didn't even Beta Test this time! Oh no! I'll not do that again EA!!!! hahahahaha!! I'm not falling for beta testing!!!!! anyhooooo.......

I must also say thanks to Drac and crew...loving the new stuff. Even if I do want to set my computer ablaze from time to time. After my initial plan of Age of Shadows style mad dash & crash to place a plot while not being eaten by a grue....suffering crash after crash mind you...I find this new loyalty thing interesting. It only took a while to get the points, but there were many methods. One of those methods does not involve sitting around complaining about everything.
