Can hit spell effects appear multiple times on the same weapon?

I am just wondering if a magical weapon can have multiple hit spell effects on it. It would be crazy if there is a weapon to have hit lightning, fireball, harm, magic arrow at the same time (well if it could happen).

Thanks in advance!

Nope can't have more than one spell effect on a weapon.

Actually you can, to an extent.

Some weapon recipes add hit spell, which can be in addition to a normal weapon property.

I've seen a weapon with 15 hit harm (fromr ecipte) and 40+ hit magic arrow. And, you could get a hit area added to that if you were lucky.

The "Two hit effect" weapons from recipes are rare now.

Several publishes ago, they altered the runic system to allow only ONE Hit effect (defaulting to the one that came with the recipe, but able to be increased if the same one rolled as a runic property).

Hit Areas are also limited to 1 per weapon (but you can have both a hit spell and a hit area on the same weapon).

Unfortunately, this also made double slayers impossible (or nearly so) again.

Too bad if what Basara said is true.

My friend has a Wounding Assassin spike on Siege with 15% harm and 40`ish % Lightning. It really rocks people mixed with DP. :p

Pretty rare... They stapped spawning completely with the arrival of New Haven (the Paladin Quest was the only means to get one), and craftable/loot ones disappeared from the runic/loot tables when they changed the Slayer tables sometime around 2003-2004 (where they made alll Daemon slayers Demon slayers, and removed blood Elemental slayer from its accidental slot as a super-slayer).
