Can a sampire be done on a budget?

I would like to hear some opinions if its worth the time to build a working sampire if you are on limited funds.Im not much into making boatloads of money, playing more for fun and exploring possibilities.
Lets say only 115 powerscrolls,+20 stat, armor pieces under 100k,tokuno majors and copper/bronze crafted runic weapons (yes you can get lucky with copper hammers) .Usable (nothing great) jewelry is available. You get the idea,no high end items are available or will be purchased.
Perhaps using Wind's Edge as a weapon,i like it very much on my samurai, because it circumvents the high stamina requirements very well. Also got an hml/hsl ssi30 warhammer for whirlwind. If somebody recommends Soul Seeker, remember i would need a backup weapon against undead.
Just curios if it would work against things like paragon balrons or paragon succubi. No need for champs or peerless bosses.
Or is it that this template really needs all those high end items to even work properly without healing.
Sorry for the extra sampire thread,i know there are a lot of them.

Sure. You can top out at 115 on skills, 250 on stats. You can also go with all the armor and weapons you are describing as long as your weapon has the required leeches and swing speed and you have enough mana and as much Dex as you can get.

You won't quite hit the ultimate Sampire, but it will still be playable and it will still be fun.

I started my sampire on Drachenfels with 0 gold and no support from other players/characters.

I used only what I could find on player vendors and what other players could sell me.

Within a week, I had a mostly 70's suit with 45% DCI and a good sampire weapon (apart from soul seeker). All for less than a million gold. (The suit doesn't have much else besides that, but it's a great starting point)

And my training wasn't done yet.

So the answer is, yes, it's very possible to do sampire on a budget.

Fine you made a million in a week .Not much practical information besides that you made it.Thank you for the answer.:talktothehand:
You really need to chill. The thread title is "Can a sampire be done on a budget?". He gave a perfectly good example that it can be, thus answering your question. If you want more detailed information you should ask for it, not give a smart ass response.

Sure it can... just farm a BUNCH of silver, faction points, and you've got some good core pieces to your suit for "free"(mace and shield, primer of arms, heart of the lion, and fey legs) :next:

I think the two "important" mods to keep an eye for on your suit is DCI and resists.

My sampire does have some "high end" pieces in his suit(mace and shield, jackals collar). But he runs heart of the lion and fey legs(upgrading to faction items)

His jewelry was mostly bargain basement bought(I think these were 100k each):
ring w/13 fire, 13 dci, 22 di, 7 dex, and 15 ep...
bracelet with 14 phys(not needed), 10 hci, 20 di, 5 dex, and 13 anat

For a weapon, soul seeker seems to be the old stand by. I used a bronze runic hammer(300k) and built a radiant scimitar:
40 hla
hsl 38
hml 55
di 40

Forgot your scroll "issue". In PvM, aside from the super high level badies, being fully 120'd out isn't as critical as PvP.

Look at what is scrolled on a sampire: weapon skill, parry, and bushido. Good news is they aren't mage scrolls:coco:

It sure is nice to be scrolled out especially from a defense standpoint. But a monster isn't going to pod race you down and kill you if you get in trouble like in PvP:thumbsup:

What a jerk. You asked if it can be done on a budget and he gave you a real life example. Instead of being a dbag, just don't bother asking.:talktothehand:
