You are loking for UberOver550 bow in loot? I think there is no more 1 or 2 nice bow in UO, useable in PvM or PvP.
All using reforged-imbued-enhanced bows

50 is the cap, so you can't get more (the same way you can't get more than 100 on melee weapons)

50 is all that will show, but you can overcap it with runic reforging. I conclusively proved this with longswords and SSI in some other thread. So even this it will only SHOW 50, it's really 60 or 70 behind the scenes.

Well it likes having 180 STR. If you have 150 STR and drink a STR potion you got 180 STR "behind the scenes".... but really there is no any difference untill someone curse you.
Well, you can have 70 HML "behind the scenes".... but really there is no any difference untill you imbue SSI on the bow.

The cap is 50. Overcapped values just don't count.

Can the 50 HML be straight up imbued or do you need to reforge it?

you can imbue 50 HML on 4sec bow with 0 SSI... if you imbue SSI too then your HML drops under 50
but if you reforge max HML on 4s bow you can imbue 30 SSI and still have 50 HML

Allright thank you Corwin. What about a 3.25 second bow like the Yumi? Isnt it possible to get 50 HML on that?

You can reforge 50 HML on a 3.25s bow. And it will be 48 HML if you enhance it for 10 SSI.
