Cameo colour?

I used a Scouring toxin on a black dyed Cameo thinking it would restore it to its original red colour. It did not. It restored it to the basic grey colour that talismans have.

Is there an item that can reverse the process?
Or is there a dye that give the same red hue as the Cameos drop with? Hue# is 1645.

this post has pictures of dying them to match.

rum red looks closest.

(Pawaiin mentions there that it is the same hue as red plants,
because thats what the hue chart shows
but my red natural dye hue is 1652)

Good work finding that thread. I remembered it but had no idea about what to search.

The scouring toxin and bleach are really just the tokuno grey dye it seems.

You could also find a player wearing black and ask them if they have an un dyed one to trade for the black.

Thanks . Nice remainder to color my cameos, so I will have visual difference what do I have and what I am wearing at the moment.

Looking at the other thread it seems that I won´t be able to restore/replicate its real red colour.
