Will that work at the Mistas event? I accidently revealed a nekkid char hanging around the center of Mistas. I was trying to find a hidden chest.
This certainly explains how we go from a handful of people to everybody and their pet suddenly showing up.

I don’t know how it works on other shards, but on LS we are yelling out which commanders and direction in general chat so everybody knows when the event is going on and what stage we are at. Usually, somebody even calls out when we get the pretty colors for the final boss so the shard knows.

And everybody knows when the bubble wall goes up as somebody mentions it on general chat as well.

Someone is hiding during the event that has a Rogue element, they must be cheating!

Hopefully they paged a GM for that person harassing them while they were minding their own business.

Does OP know the event is on a Timer, I have one set for the next LS one and Atl. I guess Im cheating also since I magically appear at the start.

I also don't think detect hidden reveals players in tram ruleset. there are bots that farm the chests in mistas and i've tried revealing and detecting them to throw off their scripts (so hopefully some mob attacks them). it does not work

Tracking would work but both would depend on thier stealth and are they running a ninja mastery making them harder to detect?

This thread posting screams attention. By now most of us realize how the event works and are checking/monitoring the timer one way or another (no cheating needed.) Add in the fact you cannot reveal others in trammel ruleset makes this thread quite eye rolling.

You can reveal anyone in your house on any ruleset. That's a safety feature of the game that's been there for locking/unlocking items down, before we had "retrieve".

Birds can also reveal you in Trammel but you have to take a step. Unless you are in a house, nothing can reveal a person standing still in Trammel. As for why someone would do that at this event, I don't know, I don't follow these events anymore.

Not this event.... I've used my thief a bit and haven't had any issues with being revealed.

All I know is what happened. I was targeting with detect hidden to find a hidden chest/crate, I had gotten the message. Suddenly a char was in front of me.
Here's the weird part this char was BUTT-AZZ NEKKID! No armor or clothes nothin but the underwear that's on everyone's paperdoll avatar.
They disappear and a few minutes later while continuing to look for the elusive hidden chest/crate they are now in the outside corner of the building. (3 to 4 tiles from their previous location). I thought I kept revealing them. Since there are some different rules in this event. Like you stay hidden while picking and looting chests.
What the hell do I know I only been PLAYING SINCE 2001! Personally I think detect hidden should reveal players on ALL facets!
I have seen a lot of weird stuff lately.

As to WHY DO I POST HERE? It's a stupid habit. I stopped posting on the official forum when they closed almost every thread.
I stopped posting when they ALLOWED a guild to to post screens of and brag about harassing my sister. I come here because at least the rules are enforced.
