i am looking to create a add on for uo that makes a search engine for your house ie you know you have that one item and dont want to hunt in over 4 k items to find it you type in what it is and hit search it shows what box its in gives info on the item like the search sites do this would work realy well when building suits or just when doing deco and you need that one item to make it look like you also want to add a option for convert list of all items to spread sheet ton hen you can spend a few mins to pull a inventory of what to send to a vendor or give to newbs and have less hassles of items

I don't think you can do it as a UO program but you might be able to develop a data base program using a relational data base product such as Microsoft Access, Dbase, or Orcale. You would need to use engraving tool to mark each box and them and enter the box name and it contents in to your data base. Once that is done, you can create search criteria to find your item. Of course this will work if and only if you keep on top of what is in each box and delete records once you use the item from the data base. Remember garabage in garbage out. All of the above data base programs create stand alone pro grams but they would have to be approved by UO to used by all.
