Patch Notes for 23rd May, 2012 is as follows:
May brings plenty of opportunities for soldiers to earn big rewards on the battlefield. Fight to your fullest to be declared MVP and enjoy all the spoils that go with it. Check out the new crates and grab powerful new abilities from the shop.
Check out all the new features coming this month to Combat Arms!
[New Feature: MVP Rewards] Players who go above and beyond the call of duty in matches will be recognized as MVPs, and receive perks based on their performance. 14 MVP categories have been added, each one measuring a particular kind of contribution to the team:
MVPs Normally Receive: · 15% EXP
· 5% GP
MVPs during the MVP Event will receive: · +30% EXP (23rd May ~ 5th June)
· +10% GP (23rd May ~ 5th June)
There must be a certain number of players in the match for it to qualify for MVP rewards:
[New Item: Rebalanced Specialist]
Specialists have been rebalanced to bring them more in line with standard gear. Specialist purchases from now on will grant the rebalanced Specialist with new appearances. While the original Specialists are no longer available, anyone who had bought the permanent versions of Viper, Scorpion, Hawk, and Raven before the change can still use them as “Classic” versions.
[New Events]
I. MVP Event: Best of the Best
Starting 23rd May, all soldiers will be competing against each other for the special MVP titles. The top 10 MVPs will be chosen for different categories on each MVP day. If you are one of the chosen MVPs, then you will receive a rare reward: Max’s R870 MCS MOD(7 Days)

II. Rank Up Event: AmbitionIf you were lacking motivation to rank up, then join the battle for the next three weeks because we’re generously giving out bonus rewards and items to players who increase their rank.

III. FREE Myst-N with all new Specialists!
We’ve recently rebalanced Specialists in order to provide a better playing experience for all users. Specialist purchases from now on will feature their new, fairer stats with fresh appearances! Whilst the original Specialist models are no longer available, anyone who owned a permanent version of Viper, Scorpion, Hawk and Raven before our change will be able to use the “classic” version. To reward those who are first to get their hands on the updated Specialists, we’re giving away some freebies!
