looking to buy the virtue shrine lanterns like humility spirituality honor and so on

Curious, where are these from? (never seen them myself)

I know a few event arcs ago (years) there was the Spirituality Lantern (for humans) and Singularity Lantern (for gargs) eventually you'd turn them in and get the ricardo lantern.

they werent an official item. most likely created by a corrupt em. i wouldnt get your hopes on finding them ivester, decadence has the set, maybe she would part with it but i know she collects lanterns and paid big $$ last raresfest for them. if i remember right one is even spelled wrong.

The virtue set that I have as far as I know are unique. We do not know the history of them. I had asked Mesanna prior to purchasing multiple lanterns that there were no records of, and she emailed me back and said that there were no records of many old seer items, and she couldn't tell me if they were legitimate or not, but that I could keep them and enjoy them. So that is pretty much all of the known info on them.

I also did not purchase these at any rares fest, I purchased from a private collector.

i apologize, i just remembered they had been sold at a raresfest. maybe Decadence bought after or they are not in fact unique. this is what i remembered.

in regards to the corrupt EM thing, you had to be there at the raresfest and basically make the decision for yourself. Thats something every rares collector has to do when encountering items like these. They might very well be unique seer items (assuming decadence bought them after the fest) however the from the information at the time (or in this case refusal of history / information) lead many interested in these (including myself) to pass on them.

If nothing else, they should be a lesson that when selling items, always provide as much information when you can. it will help sales and reassure buyers on what an item actually is or may have originated from.

whatever they are, its a very cool set and most likely extremely rare.

But since they can't be proven they are allowed to be kept as owning them does not disrupt the game mechanics. Plenty of these type of examples. I just won't put them on my list. But they still command big gold.

Your right Decadence. the 8 lantern set at the fest was a dungeon set, and NOT the ones you have. sorry i had confused them. I think of the original dungeons as "the virtue / antivirtue" dungeons was what led to the confusion.

except me because i mixed up decadence's set with the 8piece from the fest. sorry i do try when i can then best thing about knowing rares is there always a wealth of knowledge available from the many who have been dedicated over the years.
