Because he wants more resists. And a lot of people back when AOS came out and HCI sheilds dropped, they enhanced them with gold for luck. We didn't know they weren't going to drop HCI on sheilds anymore.

That's my guess anyways.

The shield itself is dyable to any color you like via normal dye tub. Anyways, anyone else want the shield I have listed here?
