Bushido & Mage Weapon??!

Hello!

Just wondering if the following rough template is viable?! (pvm)

Bushido
Parrying
Tactics
Magery
Meditation
Necromancy
Spirit Speak

I am wondering :
Will bushido/parrying/tactics be any good without the associated weapon skill, assuming I use a -0 mage weapon?? Can you do specials still for example? Do I lose out on special move mana reduction? Or something else I have not thought of entirely?!

Any ideas?

You would need true weapon skill to use specials. Also getting a high enough dex so you can hit fast enough and having a high enough intel, for mana, is gona be tough! No eval would make your offensive spells (I assume its only for healing anyway) very bad. As you hit your stam will go down, with no obvious way of making it go back up (chiv or focus.) you will need refresh pots.

Also in Vampire form, when casting heal or greater heal the garlic would hurt you. You would have to use wraith form for mana leech only so would need a decent amount of SS.

Sounds pretty interesting though, shame you just can't use specials. If you managed to get 70 or 90 weapon skill in there and had 120 magery so you hit as often as poss. Then maybe would work. Also a 45dci,45hci,70 resists,100lrc,+stat suit might be kinda hard. Regents FTW I guess.

I've posted this template in this forum before. It's not really meant for PvM, mainly because you need to use a mage weapon. If you can find a really good mage weapon then by all means go nuts.

120 resist
120 bush
120 parry
70 Med


That leaves 50 points. I use this template for PvP. My mage weapon is a war fork, so I put on 50 fencing to let me cast evasion. You could also do Chiv for remove curse, or put the points in med.

You need rediculous items and suit to make it work. I have fun on him though. Offense is somewhat limited due to mana. You need to have 80 dex for the parry to be worthwhile. That leaves me with a mana pool of 100 after my items.
