Bugged Vet Rewards?

I am trying to redeed a couple veteran rewards in my home, and it says 'you can only redeed this if you originally placed it, or if you are the house owner.' I AM the house owner. I've tried many times with the double clicking, and of course these can't be axed, but I did try that too. They don't have a context menu.

I've tried using the character whose name appears on the house sign. Not that that should matter, but I tried.

So, any ideas how to ninja pull-up these things? Maybe customize and wall over it? Anything easier?

Were you the house owner when they were placed?

Was it the current owning account, or an older co-owner (or previous owner), that placed the items?

If the current owning account was the account that placed the items, and all else fails, call a GM, and explain that you placed them, but now they won't let you redeed them.

Good questions. I don't know for sure.

So if a reward is not placed by the current house owner's account, it can't be redeeded even if it's in the way? That seems silly, especially since the error message itself says the house owner can deed it up. Plus, people can quit and so on, making it impossible to find whoever might have ploped it there to begin with.

Ah well.

the main issue is with things where a previous owner or coowner placed, say, an ankh (5 year reward) in a house now owned by a 40 month character, as a common example.

As long as your account is old enough to place the item, you shouldn't have an issue in your own home.

I agree, however, my account is almost 11 years old, having trouble with 4th year items glued to the floor. A real puzzle.

i had the same problem with banner deeds. i had to page a gm and he removed them. even though it took atleast 4 hours on the que
