Bug with Spinning Lathe

So I went to make a few fishing poles out of oak. The poles should have had 40 luck on them.
Which they do if you use a carpentry tool.

If you use the spinning lathe - no luck on pole.

Sounds like a bug. Perhaps while they are at fixing it, they could give us a little thank you for choosing the lathe luck boost for making them on the lathe with say 50 luck instead of non-lathe 40 eh?
