BUG with slimes on Oceania - there is none! KRIKEY MATE!!

Could someone please post a screenie or something where they found them on their shard?

I'm running all over the place on those farms West of brit, and I can't see any slimes!

'course, I've been up since 3:30 this morning, so i'm not seeing too well regardless ;) LOL!

Yes, new title, all our bugs are slimey! Wait, no, I mean, WE HAVE NO SLIME! SLIME US DEVS!

(sorry Pet - I refuse to use "DEVS!" in my thread title! LOL!)

Teeshy, I just looked and there are no acid slimes on Oceania in the same area where I've seen them on two other shards (Sonoma and GL). Perhaps Oceania's one day ahead of the other shards though and they are spawning somewhere else now? Might want to check the other thread that has the rough translations of info from the EA Japan site to see the names of some of the other places where they will supposedly spawn.

I also checked on Yamato and found nothing there, so either they are also one day ahead of the N. American shards or maybe this event will not start on some of the shards until later this month.

Was Oceania included in the Japanese run of the event? I apologize for not knowing which global location Oceania represents. My understanding was this slime event was for North American and European Servers.

I would have to say that it is a frustrating search indeed!!

I to have searched high and low to the west of Brittian as stated on FOF - Nothing on Oceania.

And this event would not be only for just Nortern or European shards - it would have to be for all shards as it it requirement for a quest - can not do the quest if no slimes appear.

We've had one server down since the publish (two including the publish)... how many are the other shards on?

Wonder if they forgot to turn on the event on Oceania??

Would not be the first time that an event has been delayed on Oceania due to all pixels not being in place.

Ohh well, I give up for know - more important things to like shopping for wifie's Birthday present (one the lucky or unlucky people who's birthday is at Christmas time).

Just had a thought, Can these simes be killed? If so, do they respawn??

I really don't think Slimes exist on Oceania. I've checked every one of the locations thoroughly from the Japan website list, and can't find anything.

I did send in feedback through the site (three times under three different categories - I didn't know which one would get noticed more =P)

Hopefully someone's around to turn the switch on!

I would hope that Draconi or Leurocian have some sort of system set up to allow them access to the clusters from their homes...Having remote control abilities sure make my administrating tasks alot easier, especially during holidays/vacations/illness!

Hope you all on Oceania get 'Slimed' soon! :)

Change the thread title to attract more attention, I doubt anybody will care if its "just Oceania". We get shafted all the time.

Make it something like: MASSIVE BUG WITH SLIMES! DEVS!

Sure to get attention.

Yes, we need something that will catch the eye, Teeshy. I recommend thinking about something that sounds so intimidatingly, frothingly rageful that people simply have to click on it:
"DAMN THOSE CONSARNED SLIMES THEY DONE ET MAH BEBEH."

Or possibly a title that's a masterpiece of incoherency and draws them like moths to a flame just because it makes them overwhelmingly curious about what you're actually trying to say:
"lol slippy slimey-wimey gooble googilly lolol kawaii g'day mate LMAO-chan eggs, plz devs look this and give candy lol"

Or, if that fails, just something that's so patently unbelievable and obviously untrue that people open it to laugh at the pitiful contents:
"NEWS: The Entire Shard of Oceania Agrees On Something"

From the cryptic Draconi: Yes, the event is working. If you wish to find where the slimes are currently located I would suggest heading towards Britain and explore the western area.


I went all over this area, could of found a lost child!!
did i find slime?? Nope!!

Checked the place that was mentioned in the other thread... nothing!!

Yesterday, Slimes have vanished on Catskills, too. I don't know whether this is intended and Slimes need to take a break from all the being used as dye. The shard had been searched and no Slimes have bee found in other locations.

Well, if they ARE indeed missing, a UO staff actually acknowledging it would mean it needs to get fixed, and NO ONE wants to do that on a weekend.

Like does anyone remember when the 'last stage' of the fight for Magincia was to be done over one weekend and they forgot to turn it on? It was only on Monday that they were like 'Whoops!'. Even though there were like 10 different threads on here PLEADING for someone to answer?

Its annoying, but not a game stopping issue. Still, not answering these kinds of threads either show that: 1) the team is busy playing WoW on weekends, or 2) they just don't want to be bothered to do anything about it past their usual 40 hours a week.

It's 9.18 in the morning in the UK, another 5 hours behind that in New York, and 3 hours more on the West coast. They don't get Monday until Australia has sucked most of the goodness out of it.

Ahh, and I've had such an excellent Monday too! There might be a *little* goodness left ;)

Maybe my Tuesday will start with good gaming news - course I wont be home all day to enjoy it, but will be nice if I at least know it's there!
